Sturgeon Bay is a fisherman's paradise. There are walleye
and bass along the western shore from the bridge to Sherwood Point. The
east side of the bay is known as the flats. This is a perch fisherman's
heaven. Sawyer Harbor at the mouth of Sturgeon Bay abounds with perch,
smallmouth, northern, walleye, musky, pan fish, bowfin,
bullhead, trout,
and bobber dunkers. Lake Michigan is famous for big game fish like
salmon, and lake trout. In addition, Sturgeon Bay is host to a big money
bass tournament each year. If you like you can also fish right in our
lagoon that features bullhead, perch, bluegill, bass, trout, and
sunfish.
